Team Photographer

We need a parent or friend of the team to take pictures. We need pictures for this site, end of year banquet, posters, etc.. Does anybody know someone who is interested in taking pictures at the games? If you do please have them contact Coach Gunter. We can get them a sideline pass, etc..

Bear River

Freshmen game is Thursday at 4pm at Box Elder.

Soph and JV games are at Bear River. Sophs at 4pm and JV immediately following.

Varsity game is Friday at Box Elder at 7pm.

Practices this week will be after school each day at 3:10- 5:30pm

Copper Hills

Sophs play on Thursday at 3:30 pm at Copper Hills High School
5445 New Bingham Hwy.
West Jordan, Ut

JV plays at 4pm at home

Freshmen play at 4pm on Wednesday at Logan

Varsity plays Friday night at 7pm at Copper Hills.

Practices this week start at 4pm. There is conditioning in the morning at 8am.

Coach G: The theme this week was compete. It is important to understand that we must compete to win every play with great intensity. Great things can happen when all 11 are competing on every play. We have a lot to improve and we will continue to master the fundamentals but never forget that we must compete 1 play at a time. Nice job!

Purple and White Aug. 14 6pm

The Purple and White game is Friday August 14 at 6pm for the Freshmen Sophomore scrimmage. 7pm the Purple plays the White in a controlled scrimmage. It is an opportunity to participate in a game like situation to help prepare for the real thing on Aug. 21 at Weber.

Run to the B

On Friday Aug. 7 the football team did their last summer conditioning test by running (mostly hiking) to the B. Here are some photos on top of the B.

Mothers Night Wed. Aug. 12

Box Elder Football is having its first "Mothers Night".   It will be Wednesday August 12 at 6pm at the football field.  Mothers Night is designed to teach the basics of football to the moms (sisters and grandmas are also welcome).   Moms will learn the basics of the game.  They will also get to learn their son's position and the basic drills they do every day.  They will be coached by their sons and the coaches.  It will be a great opportunity for moms and sons.  See you there!

2 a days 2009

2 a days begin August 10 at 8 am. First practice will go until 11 am and be full pads. Second practice will be 1 hour and start at 6 pm. Special events are Friday Purple and White at Ferguson Field at 6pm everyone is invited. Senior Talent Show is Thursday at 6pm, only players and coaches invited.
